About Borgohost

I am Sean. Borgohost is not a company with a team page: it is me, working from Ghaxaq, Malta, looking after WordPress sites for people who do not want to think about hosting.

Most of my customers are small enough that the person who emails me owns the business. That shapes the whole product. There is no ticket tier, because there is one queue. There is no phone number, because I would rather answer email properly inside a stated window than half-answer a call outside it. And there is no uptime percentage on this site, because one person cannot honour one honestly.

The name is from il-Borgo, the old name for Birgu. It seemed better than another invented word with a missing vowel.

What that means for you

• You are buying from a named human, with the name, address and VAT number published on our legal notice and checkable in the EU VIES register.
• If something is broken and I cannot fix it, I will tell you that rather than manage you.
• If I ever cannot run this properly, you get your data and a migration, not a surprise.
