Report abuse or illegal content

If a site we host is doing something illegal or abusive, tell us. Emailabuse@borgohost.com.

What to include

  • The exact URL or domain.
  • What you believe is wrong with it, in your own words.
  • Anything that shows it: a header, a log line, a screenshot, a message you received.
  • How we can reach you. Anonymous reports are read, but we cannot reply to them.

What happens next

  • You get a confirmation that we received it.
  • We look at it and decide. Where we act, we tell the customer why.
  • You get a statement of what we decided and the reasons for it.
  • Reports are handled inside 09:00 to 17:30 CET, Monday to Friday. Automated containment for the most serious categories runs at any hour without waiting for a human.

Copyright

Copyright complaints go to the same address. Tell us what work is infringed, where it is, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We do not operate a DMCA process and have no designated DMCA agent: that is a United States mechanism and we are established in Malta. A DMCA notice will be handled as an ordinary notice under EU and Maltese law.

The full policy

This page is the short version, and it is enough to file a report. The fullnotice and action policy sets out what makes a report actionable, how we assess it, what our customer receives when we act, and how a decision can be challenged.

Authorities

Member state authorities, the Commission and the Board should uselegal@borgohost.com. Notices accepted in English and Maltese.
